Toyota Veloz Hybrid's Arrival Signaled for GIIAS 2025

KatadataOTO – News of the arrival of the Toyota Veloz Hybrid has resurfaced. The environmentally friendly car is said to be going on sale soon.

There is even a salesperson who is already accepting orders for the new Toyota hybrid car.

"As for the Toyota Veloz Hybrid, there are indeed several people waiting. If you want to place an indent order, please do," said the salesperson to KatadataOTO, Thursday (10/07).

For interested consumers in the country, a booking fee of around Rp 5 million can be submitted.

He then stated that the price of the Toyota Veloz Hybrid will be more expensive than the older version.

"The price (of the Veloz Hybrid) will likely be between Rp 350 million and Rp 360 million," he continued.

However, he was not yet willing to reveal the launch date of the Toyota Veloz Hybrid for consumers in the country.

Meanwhile, another salesperson is also accepting orders for the Toyota Veloz Hybrid.

He explained that the four-wheeled vehicle with a hybrid powertrain is predicted to be showcased at an automotive exhibition later this month.

"The official launch is at GIIAS 2025, but if you're willing and serious, it's fine to book it first," he said.

As a reminder, news of the Toyota Veloz Hybrid's arrival had surfaced in late 2024. However, at that time, the manufacturer was still keeping all information about the unit tightly under wraps.

"Regarding new products, I cannot comment, but what can be said is that the Toyota Innova Zenix and Yaris Cross Hybrid are not the last models,” said Anton Jimmi Suwandy, who was then the Marketing Director of Toyota Astra Motor (TAM).
