KatadataOTO – Recently, prospective customers of QJMotor in Solo, Central Java have been experiencing problems. They did not receive their units after making payment.
Hearing this, the brand from China has spoken out. They revealed several things that happened on the ground.
“Regarding the Solo dealer, I want to clarify a few things to make it clear. There are some facts that we all need to know,” began Budi Kurniawan, VP of Branding & Marketing Communication at PT QJMotor Industry Indonesia in South Jakarta a few days ago.
Budi explained that prospective owners of QJMotor products did indeed make cash purchases at the Superbiker Moto Solo dealership.
However, the payment process was done by transferring funds to another party's account, not in the dealer's name.
“To date, these consumers have not received their units from Superbiker Moto Solo. QJMotor has contacted the dealer to resolve this issue immediately,” continued Budi.
He further explained that QJMotor plans to conduct an investigation. They will trace the flow of the buyers' funds to the third party.
So that the problems of the prospective owners in Solo, Central Java can be handled promptly. Thus, no more parties will be harmed.
“We always recommend that transactions be made to the official dealer's account. Besides for consumer safety, the value of the motorcycle unit is also not small,” he added.
QJMotor will not just turn a blind eye. They will provide assistance and mediation with the related parties.
This is important to do with the aim of resolving the problem as well and as quickly as possible.
On the other hand, the aftermath of the above problem has led QJMotor to decide to terminate its partnership with Superbiker Moto Solo.
“We have also sent a letter requesting clarification. On September 10, our team went directly to the Superbiker Moto Solo location,” Budi affirmed.
Budi said that the QJMotor consumer problem in Solo is very serious. Therefore, they are not taking this matter lightly.
Especially since it has already harmed several prospective owners. The buyers did not receive what was rightfully theirs after making payment.
“On October 20, we also held a follow-up meeting to discuss various issues, including the units that have not been delivered. The coordination and clarification process is ongoing,” he concluded.
For your information, a consumer in Solo purchased a QJMotor SRV 250 Libero for Rp 75 million.
However, he never received the ordered unit. According to the consumer, there were several things that caused the delay.
